Structural Calculations
What Are Structural Calculations?
They are the maths behind your building’s ability to stay upright. We use them to determine the loads that a building must withstand. These include columns, joists, beams, slabs, trusses, and rafters, as well the various connection mechanisms that hold the structure together. Without them your new development will not pass building regulations and your property is at risk of collapsing.
Why Do I Need It?
Structural calculations form an integral part of construction. Without them you could end up with a development that is not adequately supported and in some instances the building/extension collapsing. Not only is it a financial risk, there is a health and safety risk. It is also a government requirement.
