Whether it’s a new development or a home/residential development, construction work can be a stressful task. At CAD Architecture our mission is to take the stress away so you can focus on what really matters, making your house feel like a home.
We recommend booking in a site consultation with us. One of our experts will come out to visit your property so you can discuss what you would like to achieve and if it is possible to achieve. We will assess your property and your neighbouring properties. We will then give you planning and building regulation advice. We will also be able to provide a quote for planning and building regulation following the site consultation.
If you are happy with the quote, the next stage is under taking a measured survey of your property. A measured survey involves taking specific and accurate measurements of your property in order to create a plan that can be used to obtain planning permission and for the construction phase. This is a fundamental stage because the accuracy of the drawings and plans that we produce will guide your construction team during the building process. We often find clients experiencing difficulties at this stage because the drawings they have obtained from other firms/individuals are not adequate. This can cause a major delay in your building process, added costs and a lot of stress. At CAD Architecture we have the experience and knowledge to provide you and your builders with the very best technical drawings so your development can be straightforward.
Our lead time is approximately 2-3 weeks to produce planning/construction drawings. Once the drawings are complete you are invited to our office to review it. We can make internal alterations and offer advice on the layout of your project. Once you are happy with the drawings we can submit them along with a planning application to your local authority and deal with the planning department on your behalf.
